Validity & Booking

• Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

• All styling sessions take place at Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent.

• Appointments are dependent on the availability of the Personal Styling Suite within Bluewater. Once you request preferred dates, Carlene will confirm room availability with the centre before finalising your appointment.

• To book, email info@carlenescloset.com with your voucher code and availability.

What You Are Purchasing

• Gift cards cover Carlene’s professional time, expertise, preparation and on-the-day styling guidance.

• While most clients do leave with new items, there is no guarantee of how many shops will be visited, what will be found on the day, or how many items will be purchased. This depends on stock availability, budgets, sizing options and seasonal changes.

• Styling and personal shopping are provided during the booked session only. Any additional services — such as wardrobe edits, returns assistance, personalised shopping lists or follow-up support — are optional add-ons that can be booked separately.

Scope of Service

• Carlene provides professional personal styling and personal shopping, including guidance on body shape, fit, colour palette and outfit building.

• The service does not include personal assistant duties, emotional counselling or extended wardrobe therapy beyond what naturally takes place within a standard styling session.

• Store selection is guided by Carlene’s professional judgement. While client preferences are welcomed, Carlene may suggest alternative stores to ensure the best results.

Client Responsibilities

• Please arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is included, but further lateness will reduce your session length, as the first 30 minutes of consultation are essential to achieving the best results.

• Please be open, honest about your preferences and budget, and receptive to expert guidance. Carlene has helped thousands of women find confidence and clarity in their style, and your openness will help you get the most from your session.

• If you have specific stores in mind, you are welcome to mention them — however, final store choices are at Carlene’s discretion to ensure the best fit for your shape, palette and needs.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiting the session or gift card value.

Stylist Cancellations

• In the unlikely event that Carlene needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, emergencies or family matters), you will be notified as soon as possible via email.

• As a solo stylist and parent, there may be rare occasions where short-notice changes are unavoidable.

• If this happens, Carlene will offer the earliest available alternative date that suits your schedule. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

• No refunds are issued in these circumstances, but your session will always be honoured at the next mutually suitable time.

Refunds & Transfers

• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Gift cards may be transferred to another person only with Carlene’s prior written agreement.

Operational Changes

• In the unlikely event of operational changes to the Personal Styling Suite or the centre itself, your experience will still be honoured. The physical room or format may vary, but the level of service and experience provided will remain equivalent.

Digital Certificates

• All gift cards are delivered digitally and are not physical items.
